YALLWest book festival in Santa Monica features authors, food trucks and more

With a lineup filled with best-selling authors and YouTube reviewers, the YALLWest book festival in Santa Monica is something not to miss. The free festival will take place on Sat. Apr. 29, and will be offering various events throughout the day. Food trucks will also be onsite.

Featuring renowned authors like Cassandra Clare (Mortal Instruments series), Lauren Oliver (Delirium), and Ransom Riggs (Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children), the festival will hold book signings, question and answer panels, and writings tips and tricks.

Not only will acclaimed authors be present, but up and coming authors will be making their debut there as well. Besides book writers, there will be skilled high school writers, YouTube reviewers (Sasha Alsberg, Christine Riccio, etc.) and book editors who will be available to offer advice, solace, and a good time.

Volunteer options are also available in four hour shifts with a one hour training session that must be attended beforehand. Those who volunteer do not have to pay for the ticketed keynotes or food, and are given a YALLWest festival t-shirt.
