Emily Weston, being a star student, has accomplished a lot during her time at FUHS.

Weston has participated in FUHS’ culinary arts program for all four years and has received culinary student of the year for 3 years in a row. She has also participated in both the  AP and IB programs, and has been a member of the FUHS speech team for all four years.

Weston is very grateful for the experience and the impact that culinary and speech have had on her.

However, for Weston, the best part of being a student at FUHS has been the teachers.

“All of the teachers were of course amazing and the work was hard but it was worth it,”  Weston said.

Weston’s mentor for her during high school has been her older sister.

“It helped having a sister who’s four years older than me, so it was good having some advice before going into high school, just having an older sister prepare me for high school and for dealing with stuff in the future,” Weston said.

Weston plans to major in administration of justice at a four year university after completing two years at a community college. After college, she hopes to get a job working for the government.
