On Nov. 28 Girls Water polo faced Yorba Linda High school, beating them 15-8.

Senior Emmy Yzguerra scored nine goals helping the team take the lead during the game, and freshman Sarah Penton saving 8 shots to not concede.

In the first period, Fullerton was behind Yorba Linda, with no goals scored, but they came back and took the lead later in the game.

“Later in the game, we scored four goals, putting us in the lead” said Penton.

The team relied on one another, and worked together to score 15 goals and win their first game of the season.

“Our communication was a lot better and we all got along during that game really well,” Penton said.

Congratulations to Girls water polo for their first win of the season!
