On Friday, Dec. 14, the FUHS Choral Music Program will be hosting their annual concert “Sounds of the Season.”

The concert will begin at 7 p.m. and will feature the talented Bass, Treble, and Concert Choirs along with Vocal Ensemble, and various soloists and small ensembles. There will also be guest choirs from local junior high schools.

Tickets are available online. VIP seats are $12, general admission seats are $7, and student tickets are $5.

Junior Elijah Brandquist will be performing “O Holy Night” as a solo.

“I’m a little nervous, because there are going to be so many people there,” Brandquist said. “This is my first solo at Fullerton.”

Brandquist is in Vocal Ensemble, so he will be performing many pieces tonight including one in Russian.

“That was probably the hardest [song] I ever ran through because I can’t speak Russian,” Brandquist said.

Brandquist hopes that people will come to the concert to see what choir does.

“Some people don’t know that they can sing, so seeing [the concert] is new to them,” Brandquist said. “We just all come and celebrate the holidays together.”

Be sure to come to the Choir concert at 7 p.m. in Plummer Auditorium!
