“I come from a Mexican community. I was raised in a family of nine kids raised by a single mom and it was her who shaped me to be who I am. Every time I think of quitting, I constantly remind myself that it was nowhere near as hard as what my mother had to do to raise all nine of us. I work hard so that in the future she won’t have to anymore and I can return the favor one day for everything she has sacrificed for me as well as my siblings.”
