During the baseball team’s game on April 1, the Indians faced Villa Park and lost 6-11. The Spartans (14-5) were close to evenly matched up with the Indians until the 4th inning, when the Spartans scored 7 runs.
Sophomore Mason Park brought the Indians back with his 2 score homerun. Even though the Indians were losing, Park explains that having fun is what keeps the Tribes momentum going throughout the game.
“I think it’s just that at some point it’s just about having fun, because there’s levels to being intense, but there you also have to be able to enjoy the game, or else you won’t be able to be intense about the game.”
Although the Indians predict that they will be competing in Division 2 for CIF, it will still be a difficult matchup for the Tribe.
The Fullerton baseball team is now halfway done with its league season. They are scheduled to play Calvary Chapel, April 25, at home. The Indians (17-8-1) are going into their third matchup against the Eagles (13-11). The boys are looking forward to the rest of the season, confident in their skills of making CIF.
