Evenor Giannavola

Initially, Evenor Giannavola had mixed feelings about being nominated for Mr. Fullerton.

“I was excited because this is a thing that not a lot of people get to do,” Giannavola said. “But I’m not excited for the part that embarrasses me, which is all of it.”

Giannavola was the Co-Captain of the Varsity football team this year. “[As a captain] a lot of guys look up to you and they see to you for direction,” Giannavola said. “You have to be a leader.”

After playing for 13 years, Giannavola has shown a strong commitment to the sport. “I love playing. It doesn’t even have to be a big game or anything, I just like playing,” he said.

In addition to football, Giannavola also enjoys spending time with his friends. “We usually just joke around and play some Mario Kart,” Giannavola said. “Kody [another Mr. Fullerton nominee] usually wins because I always mess up on one of the races and drop down to 4th place or something.” 

Giannavola said that the best part about being involved in Mr. Fullerton is hanging out with guys he’s never really hung out with before.

 “We all mess around and joke around… so we have to get back to practicing,” Giannavola said.
