Bryce Abernathy
When Bryce Abernathy found out he was nominated for Mr. Fullerton his initial response was similar to many other nominees. “I was going to do it and it was going to be a lot of fun,” Abernathy said.
Abernathy felt excited to do it with all of the guys. “It’s just going be a fun thing to do together to end senior year.”
Outside of Mr. Fullerton, Abernathy enjoys music and plays three instruments: piano, banjo, and the dulcimer. The dulcimer is a string instrument similar to a guitar. “I like music but I do it for fun. Just whenever I feel like it,” Abernathy said.
Abernathy doesn’t let his hobbies take away from his involvement at school. For the last two years, Abernathy has been in ASB and this year is the Senior Vice President. From his experience in ASB, Abernathy has learned to be more organized and prepared for tasks.
For three years, Abernathy played on FUHS’s water polo team, and while he is no longer playing in his senior year, he still enjoys water sports and surfs frequently.
Overall, Abernathy said that he’s “excited for the audience to see all of the hard work the guys have put in,” and gives a shout out to Claire Wright.
