Isabella Schwimmer

Isabella Schwimmer is a hard-working, up and coming Fine Art major who is inspired by both of her parents, who are equally supportive and influential.

“I’d say that my mom helped a lot with me being an artist. She was an artist and it kind of went off on me and also my dad; I like the same stuff he does with music and I think that music really helped to shape me as a person right now,” Schwimmer said.

Schwimmer recently attended a district board meeting and received a certificate of recognition for visual arts.

“I’m just thankful for all the art classes I’ve taken, thankful for my teachers Crail and Kudron; they’ve just helped me a lot along the way. They taught me a lot about my art–like how to be a better artist. I guess they’ve just brought up a ton of new opportunities for me as an artist,” Schwimmer said.

Schwimmer’s teachers have encouraged her to pursue her talent outside of school, in which she was accepted into Ryman Arts program which she attends on the weekends.

Schwimmer plans to major in fine art at a four year university after completing two years at Fullerton College. After college, she would like to have her own arts studio and spend her days painting and drawing.
