Seven cultural groups—including Salsa and Hawaiian dancers—performed Feb. 7 to highlight our campus’s diversity. This was the first year Fullerton hosted such an event, and has hopes to expand and get more groups involved next year. The class of 2027 really stepped up and showed out, volunteering in multiple routines varying from cultural dances to martial arts. The assembly also celebrated winter sports successes.

Sophomore Jayden Bae was the lead performer in the Taekwondo routine at the IFF assembly. Bae, who started learning Taekwondo at the age of 4, hopes Fullerton keeps the IFF tradition so he can take his Taekwondo routine “to the next level” and showcase it for the 2025-2026 school year. (Josie Lee)

Senior Desiree Sanchez-Valencia performed her salsa solo at the International Fullerton Fest. “I know [salsa] is not that popular and I grew up dancing it,” said Sanches-Valencia, who hopes to inspire others to join in performing at next year’s assembly. (Cade Buis)
