Sophomore ASB Commissioner of Clubs Jane Hale welcomes the 43 clubs on campus this year.
While ASB encourages student clubs, all need to meet certain requirements. In order for clubs to retain their official status, presidents must submit a constitution and attend an Inter-Club Council (ICC) meeting once a month during lunch.
The Tribe Tribune has compiled a partial preview of Fullerton High School clubs below. Our staff is still collecting information from clubs who are confirming their meeting days and locations. Whether it’s a new or returning club, all students should be able to find a campus community to join.
Art Club meets every other Tuesday in Room 146. The club encourages creativity through different artistic mediums such as drawing, sculpting, and ink painting. For more information contact Tommy Stecher or adviser Scott Hudson.
Bake and Create Club meets on the first and last Tuesday of every month in Room 93. The club decorates baked goods and shares recipes. For more information contact Sabina Arroyo, Sophia Gallardo or adviser Mario Schwarz-Cole.
Band Club meets on the third Thursday of every month in Room 80. The club promotes instrumental music and acts as a social space for music-lovers. Blissful Minds Collective meets the second Wednesday of the month in Room 69. The club provides mental-health resources for students and plans on doing fundraising activities for at-risk youth. For more information contact Alexa Vanderhoof or adviser Alexandra Walker.
Book Club meets once a month on Fridays in Room 34. Each month the club selects a book to read and discusses it during meetings. For more information contact Bonnie Lynch or adviser Leonardo Indelicato.
Business and Finance Club meets the fourth Wednesday and second Friday of every month in Room 11. The club teaches students about taxes, investments, and how the IRS works. For more information contact Gianluca Pineda or adviser Ashley Hill.
Cyp Club meets each Tuesday in Room 142. The club will trade and battle Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. For more information contact Jacob Pirtle or adviser Rob Ryan.
Dungeons and Dragons Club meets every Thursday in Room 18. The club is open to all and promotes creativity and fun through the playing of the famous game Dungeons and Dragons. For more information contact Will Rangel, Leah Watters or adviser Robert Orr.
Environmental Science Club meets the second and fourth Thursday of each month in Room 21. The club combines education with problem-solving to tackle climate issues. First Gen Club meets twice a month in Room 73. The club seeks to provide a space where first-generation students can receive support and information relating to college applications. For more information contact Marissa Martinez or adviser Abimael Mendoza.
Future Filmmakers of America meets each Thursday in Room 85. The club prepares students for work in film production by connecting with industry professionals in special effects and film editing. For more information contact Isabella Savage, Ray Maldonado or adviser Brayden Hall.
Full Plates Foundation meets the second and fourth Thursday of every month in Room 61. The club fights food insecurity by providing meals for those in need. For more information contact Katey Kakimoto, Madison Sibal or adviser Kikey Ramos.
Interact Club meets every other Tuesday in Room 70. The club promotes community service and works alongside Fullerton Rotary Club. For more information contact Samantha Saldana or adviser Warren Hahn.
Jesus Club meets each Wednesday in Room 86. The club welcomes nonbelievers, believers, and first timers to learn about the Gospel of Jesus and start a movement of discipleship. For more information contact Amber Elomina or adviser Gabby Kudron.
Korean Culture Club meets every first and third Thursday in Room 70. The goal of the club is to expose students to Korean culture through its language, food and clothing. Members will be able to try Korean snacks. For more information contact Addison Seo or adviser Warren Hahn.
Letters of Love meets once a month on Wednesdays in Room 12. The club provides emotional support to children in hospitals around the world by sending them letters of encouragement. For more information contact Peyton Seo, Kaelyn Kawaguchi or adviser Shannon Butler.
Thespian/Drama Club meets monthly in The Little Theatre. Members plan fundraisers to support the theater program. For more information contact Katherine Timmerman, Alejandro Thompson or adviser Jaclyn Stickel.
Magic: The Gathering meets every Wednesday during lunch in Room 229. The club is centered around the card game Magic: The Gathering and invites members to build their deck and learn about game strategy. For more information contact Matthew Choye, Will Rangel or adviser Kimberley Harris.
Mock Trial meets every Wednesday in Room 55. The club simulates trials and recreates real court cases to help members learn about the legal system. Model United Nations (MUN) meets every Monday in Room 74. The club recreates the United Nations with students acting as delegates to develop creative solutions for global issues in their assigned country. National Honor Society/California Scholarship Federation (NHS/CSF) meets the second Tuesday and second Thursday of each month in Room 145. The club encourages academic achievement, compassion, and service. Members are responsible for completing service hours and service projects that help their community. NHSDA (National Honors Society for Dance Arts) meets every other Monday in the Dance Studio. Their goal is to support the FUHS Dance Program as well as volunteer for other arts program performances on campus. Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) Scholars meets on the second Tuesday and fourth Thursday of each month in Room 11. The club plans STEM exploration activities that members vote on and fosters innovation. For more information contact Karis Kim or adviser Ashley Hill.
STEMUp4Youth meets once a month on Wednesdays in Room 10. The club organizes STEM activities for elementary and middle schoolers that are hosted every third Saturday each month at the Fullerton Public Library. For more information contact Nazareth Olvera or adviser Kristen Cruz.
Surfrider Club meets once a month on Wednesdays in Room 208. The club provides students with opportunities to influence environmental action and is dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s ocean, waves, and beaches.
