Color guard, in their recent competition on Saturday, Mar. 23rd at El Toro High School placed fourth with their show: “Mission Impossible.” Senior co-captain Lita Resendez talks about what they did when they arrived at the competition.

“We went through certain sections that we didn’t understand in our work. We also worked with the other teams my coach works with.”

Resendez is grateful for Color Guard’s success at the competition. With most of the team being new recruits, she feels that this placement is a good start.

“For our team being so new, I feel like 4th was a really good place for our competition,” said Resendez.

Their score improved 13 points since their last competition. In the meantime, Color Guard will be training for their next win.
