As we transitioned from Capricorn season into Aquarius season on Jan. 20, we left a time of structure, strong work ethic, and tradition and entered a period of independence, rebellion, and progression. Capricorn season taught us to appreciate the structure and seriousness in life, while Aquarius encourages us to break from these traditions and make our own.

Though these two signs seem completely contradictory, their placement next to each other is not coincidental. If we focus too much on the traditional and serious, we cannot expand and grow. Capricorn provides a base for us to expand and push boundaries in Aquarius season, so we can remember our roots and where we came from.

Use Aquarius season as a time to break from the mundaneness of everyday life and start pushing against any molds you feel forced to fit in. Don’t be afraid to express yourself in the fullest, using this confidence to inspire others to do the same.

Conversely, if you are someone who is easily swayed by others, Aquarius season can be a time to learn how to stand your ground and be bold.

The season also gives us a perspective shift into the future, so use this time to look deeply into yourself and what you want to do with your life.

During this time, you may grow a bit independent and unemotional, so remember to show appreciation to those you love. Remember not to lose sight of the way others have helped you reach this point in your life.

Aquarius season may also be a time of misunderstanding due to Aquarius’ progressive and unique way of communicating. Try your best to articulate extra well when communicating so that there are no misunderstandings.

Happy Aquarius Season to all!
