The FUHS varsity girls’ water polo team beat Troy High School 11-8 on Tuesday thanks to the top scorers of the game: senior Kaya Ortega (4), sophomore Sophie Zener (2) and junior Erica Barton (2). This is the first time any of the current varsity players have beaten Troy.

This win not only earned them a guaranteed spot in CIF, but a chance to play for the first place spot in League.

The team will take on Sunny Hills High School tonight in hopes of earning the title of League Champions.
