The FUHS Varsity football team beat Sonora at the Homecoming game on Fri. Oct. 6. The Indians walked away with a score of 16-12.

The Indians scored twice in the first quarter, and held off the Raiders for the rest of the game to take the win.

Sophomore quarterback Cameron Williams played to the best of his ability, and led his team to victory.

“It’s a lot of hard work, but it pays off,” Williams said.

The team is taking this win as an opportunity to try and earn another win, and they look forward to future games and hopefully more success before the season is over.

“We just need to keep scoring more points, and working hard to win more games,” Williams said.

Congratulations to the Varsity Football team for defeating Sonora!
