Comic Book day at FUHS

FUHS has the unique opportunity of allowing Comic Book Hideout, located in Downtown Fullerton, to come and sell comic books in the Upper Library. The sale will occur today, Thurs., Oct. 18. Comic books will cost only one dollar.

There will also be information on the importance of comic books in society today.

Senior Emily Davis, an intern at Comic Book Hideout, has had comic books affect her life in a big way.

“Comic books aren’t just stories,” Davis said, referring to an 1941 issue with Captain America punching Hitler on the cover. “They always pertain to the culture and time period. They deal with issues of racism, and drugs, and other issues that are more sensitive in today’s society.”

Be sure to come support Comic Book Hideout on Oct. 18!
