Tackle Cancer Week
This week, FUHS joined together in supporting those who have fought or are fighting cancer.
ASB hosted a class competition, in which students got the opportunity to raise money for charity in their second periods.
Each class has a minimum goal of $10, but the class who raised the most wins a donut party. All proceeds will be donated to the KM Legacy Foundation; a foundation created by an FUHS Alumni, Katie Monson.
The spirit week was a different color every day, each one supporting a different type of cancer.
On Monday, students and staff wore lavender in support of all cancers.
On Tuesday, FUHS wore orange in support of those fighting leukemia.
On Wednesday, everyone wore gray in support of those fighting brain cancer
On Thursday, the school joined together in wearing blue for those fighting colon cancer.
On Friday, students and staff wore pink in support of those fighting breast cancer.
