The Tribe Wrestling team(4-1) took on Troy(3-2) on January 16, 2018 on their senior night. Fullerton beat troy by a pin (6 points).

This was the last match for FUHS seniors including Jonathan Jimenez, Mitchell Dorsey, Kenny Iniguez, Isaul Castaneda, Aaron Salud, Joshua Tan-Torres, Dylan Scarberry, and Ryan Carson.

“I felt sad knowing I wasn’t going to wrestle with my team and create any more memories with them.” said Castaneda.

Pins by Isaul Castaneda and his fellow teammates aided the team getting the victory.

“It felt like all my work paid off for that moment,” said Castaneda.

The victory over Troy earned the title of City Champions for the team. They have come a long way since the beginning, and finished with a rewarding win.

“This win meant a lot to us and I‘m looking forward to what the rest of season has to offer,” said Castaneda.

Their win over Troy enabled them to take second in league and qualify for CIF as a team.
