Whether single or taken, there are plenty of things to do on Valentine’s Day. Because Valentine’s day is on a Thursday, and we will be expecting rain, it’s a little more difficult to do activities during the day or outdoors.

But, if you and your significant other, family, and friends are looking for some super easy, slightly casual things to do inside, you can still enjoy the holiday.

If you want to eat out, most nicer restaurants will already be booked with reservations. Try something lowkey, like a new cafe or small restaurant.

On the other hand, you can never go wrong with a home-cooked meal. Buzzfeed Tasty provides plenty of recipes for different cooking skill levels, dietary needs, and food types.

End the night with a relaxing movie. Make some popcorn, sit on the couch, and simply enjoy the presence of your loved ones around you.

And for those who hate Valentine’s Day, but love the candy and gifts that come along with it, take a trip to the grocery store the day after. All the leftover candy and gifts from the holiday will be on sale.
